Pivotal was establish by it's President Gail Scott in 2014.  

Gail has a strong business acumen, capable of innovative and original ideas, while still being a detail-oriented team player. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) , graduating with first class honors and a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from University of New Brunswick. She has backed these traits and education with more than 30 years of experience in accounting and office management.  Gail has held key management positions (COO, Controller, Executive Director etc) in a variety industries including  social media, manufacturing, geospatial, construction, educational institutes, retail and non-profit.  The various positions responsibilities ranged from full cycle bookkeeping, financial analysis, financial statement preparation, budget development, cash management, process and procedure development, CRA reporting, dealing with government agencies, and financial institutions.    Positions currently or most recently held are:  

- Chief Operating Officer for SceneSharp Technologies Inc.; an IT Start-up in Geospatial industry

- Comptroller for Simptek Technologies Inc.; an IT Start-up in the Energy Sector

- Accounting Manager for Gaddess Industrial Inc.; a manufacturing company

- Staff Accountant for Radian6, A Salesforce Company; an IT Social Media company

- Cost Accountant for CARIS; an IT Geospatial company
